On this memorial day, when we are a country divided, at war with a lot of dissatisfied folks around, we all pause this day to remember and honor. To honor first our brave men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan, then to honor all who have served.

If you’ve already read much of this blog, you know that my mom died in 1983 just a scant three weeks after I got out of the hospital from my first accident – my only trauma experience (thankfully it’s only one).
